As we are a family owned and run business we believe we can offer something unique to you and your child in
 the warmth and love your child will be offered in our family nursery. Our aim at Polly Anna’s is to provide a safe and caring environment for children from birth to five years, where a child can reach their own potential with our support and encouragement. We believe that each child is an individual and has skills, needs and character that can be appreciated and responded to. We strive to provide an enriching learning experience in which the children in our care can feel secure and loved. During their time with us they can enjoy all the wonderful things that childhood brings - laughter, learning and sharing.
We want our parents to be able to leave their children safe in the knowledge that they are happy and being well looked after by staff with suitable qualifications and experience, who are committed to the highest standards of childcare practices.
 Our Nursery Manager, Helen Horner BA (Hons) EYPS, has a 1st Class Honours Degree in Early Years Leadership & Management and has Early Years Professional Status. With years of experience in Early Years and education she leads a team of similarly highly qualified staff. With nearly 100% of our staff with a Level 3 equivalent qualification in Early Years which is one level higher than the Ofsted recommendation. Each area in our nursery has a dedicated Manager: Under 2’s, Lisa; Toddlers, Lynette and Pre-School, Wendy. They all have additional qualifications and experience to be able to offer children in these areas the support and challenge to develop to their maximum potential. Each of these Managers has a team of qualified and experienced staff who are committed to our policy of Continues Professional Development which insures we maintain the highest standard of education and care. You can find out more on our staff in the staff section of our website.‘Special Person’ All children will have one of our team become their ‘special person’ (or key person) who will take special responsibility for your child, making sure they fully understand everything about your child, making them feel welcome and valued as an individual, they will know their likes and dislikes working in partnership  with parents, they will be that someone special when they want to share a special moment with or give a cuddle when they are sad, someone who will help others understand them, someone to make them feel that extra bit special every time they come to nursery. They will also work very closely with you their parent, initially helping you with settling your child into nursery by getting lots of information from you, then to liaise with and support you as to what your child has been doing at nursery, to help you with share with you your child’s experiences and development, they will also be there to help, support and advise during any difficulties such as illness, etc. They are not just your child’s special person they are your special person too.
